WHO IS MOMENTUM?
Momentum – Strategic and Creative is a fully bilingual
consulting firm offering services in the areas of strategic
thinking, urban planning, community development, marketing
and communications.
Launched in 2000 as Momentum Marketing and Creative Services,
the company was originally founded on the extensive experience
of Suzanne Valiquet in social marketing in the fields of
municipal planning, environment and transportation.
Her previous experience working with Westin
Hotels and
being part of the opening team of the Ottawa property,
then later employed at the National
Arts Centre, the Château
Laurier and finally responsible for marketing and sponsorship
for the Winterlude Festival Association, enabled Suzanne
to acquire an expertise in special events and fundraising
projects.
Momentum’s Newest Addition
Momentum’s successful beginning has been
recently enhanced by a partnership with Dennis
Jacobs, a creative, senior executive with strategic vision, registered
as a professional in the discipline of urban planning and
design.
Momentum is now positioned to provide strategic advice
and direction to clients in both the public and private
sector. We are a dynamic team ready to work alongside our
clients to identify the root causes of the issues; then
propose an easily understood range of optional solutions
and; finally, to assist in determining the appropriate
plan of action. The combination of successful communication
and facilitation skills with extensive experience in municipal
planning and long term strategic thinking establishes a
strong foundation with broad capabilities to support our
clients.
